Dots per pixel experiment
This was an experiment that I had performed. Here I started drawing some random dots (same size) in the circles. The circles have a radius of 1.5cm.
Starting with the top left corner, I put 250 dots and then kept increasing the dots eventually by a count of 250. Till I reached a total count of 2500 dots(bottom right corner).
The dots cannot be differentiated clearly, until we increment it by 250 dots.
In the last one, (bottom right corner) what is intriguing is the fact that crowding is taking place at the circumference of the circle.
